FitAI – Virtual Outfit Try-On

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to FitAI (“we”, “our”, “us”). FitAI is a virtual outfit try-on application available on Android and iOS, developed and operated by Muhammed Rifat Hossain (Google Play Store name: ByteWise) (the “Developer”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use FitAI, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what choices you have. By installing or using FitAI you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

This policy applies to:

• FitAI on Android (package: com.uplifeway.fitai)
• FitAI on iOS (bundle ID: com.uplifeway.fitai)

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Photos You Provide

To generate a virtual try-on, you must supply two photos:

• A photo of yourself (“subject photo”)
• A photo of the item you wish to try on — clothing, jewellery, or eyewear (“garment photo”)

These photos are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a Firebase Cloud Function, which acts as a secure server-side proxy before forwarding the request to Google’s Gemini API for AI image generation. The generated result image is returned to your device and, if you choose, saved to your local photo library. We do not retain your submitted photos or generated images on our own servers. Photos you save to your device are stored entirely on-device and are not uploaded to any cloud service by FitAI.

2.2 Firebase Authentication – Anonymous User ID

FitAI uses Firebase Authentication in anonymous sign-in mode. When you first launch the app, Firebase automatically generates a random, non-personally-identifiable anonymous user ID (UID) for your device. This UID:

• Is not linked to your name, email address, or any external account.
• Is used internally to scope your credit balance and session data in Cloud Firestore (see section 2.8).
• Persists across app sessions on the same device.
