This Privacy Policy applies to the following Android applications developed by Online School Bangladesh ("us", "we", or "our"), which provide access to educational textbook content primarily sourced from the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) of Bangladesh:

(This policy applies to all NCTB textbook apps published under the Online School Bangladesh developer account unless a specific app provides a separate policy).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard limited information when you use these applications (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Commitment to Children's Privacy

These Apps are intended for students in Bangladesh, including children and teenagers aged 6 to 17. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children. We handle information collected through the App in compliance with Google Play's Families Policy Requirements and applicable privacy laws like the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR where relevant.

We do not require users to provide personal information like name or email address to use the core features of the App. Advertisements shown are filtered to be appropriate for children and are not based on user behavior (see Advertising section below). Parents and guardians have rights regarding their children's data and can contact us with inquiries (see Contact Us section).

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary for the App to function and to provide compliant advertising:

• Information You Provide: We do not require users to provide personal information like name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
• Information Collected Automatically:
  • Device Information: We may collect non-personally identifying information about your device, such as the hardware model, operating system version, and general mobile network information.
  • Advertising ID: We access the device's Advertising ID (if available) solely as required for the functioning of the Google AdMob advertising SDK and for essential, non-personalized advertising purposes like frequency capping (limiting the number of times you see the same ad) and fraud prevention, in compliance with Google Play policies. This ID is not used by us or AdMob for creating user profiles or serving personalized ads in these Apps.
  • Log Data: When you use the App, our servers (and those of our service providers like Google AdMob) may automatically record technical information ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your device's approximate IP address (used for general region identification, diagnostics, security, and serving contextually relevant ads, but not for precise tracking), access times, app features accessed, app crashes, and other system activity. This data helps us operate, maintain, and improve the App.
